Now looks like there really is an app for everything! If you are stressed or over worked, you have an app that will help beat the stress. The MyCalmBeat monitor is an app that monitors your heart rate variability using a small ear clip. The app which is also available for Blackberrys, Androids and PCs claims to allow a user to calm down!
The app asks the user to do some breathing exercises that allow the user to calm down. It’s like a visual version of taking deep breaths and counting to 10, except a certain amount of breaths are set to be taken within a minute. You are asked to follow the lung diagram as it inhales and exhales. The monitor determines how many breaths within a minute would be best for you.
