The bigger the better! LG today announced in a press release that it plans to demo the world’s only largest 3D TV LCD-LED display. The TV measuring at a massive 72” is the world’s largest full LED-backlit LCD 3D TV. Its sleak looks make it look like a real wonder and the TV itself is bordered by a sleek and glossy bezel.

The TV called the LZ9700 3D LED TV, is illuminated by a full panel of LEDs directly behind the screen. The tilting handle has a golden finish to it and has a compact base. The LG  LZ9700 3D TV also does 2D and comes with some power under its hood.

It runs on a 400Hz super-fast processor for faster processing of 3D images. Other features include local dimming, Smart Share over USB, DLNA, Media Link, etc, simple but utilitarian Home Dashboard and support for LG TV apps.

The LG LZ9700 LCD TV comes with a Magic Motion Remote Control that allows users to operate the TV. Apps can be customized as desired. LG says that the world’s largest 3D TV with its full back-lit display is to be available for sale early 2011.

LG would also demo the LG LZ9700 LCD TV at CES 2011 in Las Vegas.
