Netflix is finally going abroad! After years of staying in the US, Netflix is set to expand beyond our borders it said in a
statement made today. Netflix will introduce a streaming-only service for Canadian residents to watch unlimited movies and TV shows for a monthly fee.
Netflix says that the montly subscription will be available initially only in English but will add French language in the near future. This launch makes it clear that Netflix intends to promote its online streaming media as a lead product. while in the US Netflix sticks to its DVD mailing service with streaming media as an add on.
