Do kids really need laptops these days? PeeWee thinks so, and has launched the PeeWee Power 2.0 laptop that is specifically designed for children. The PeeWee models have been designed for use by children at home and at school. The PeeWee 2.0 is a basic model that is a rugged notebook made for rough use and that can take a beating.
PeeWee Power 2.0 runs on an Intel Atom N270 processor at 1.6 GHz. It has a Intel 945GSE chipset. It has a 30GB hard drive and also has 2 in 1 SD/MMC card for adding additional space or for sharing pictures via an SD card. It has 1GB of RAM inside and can be expanded to 2GB as needed. It has a screen that measures 8.9 inches and the battery lasts around 4 hours per charge.
PeeWee Power 2.0 can take water damage as well and costs about $450 bucks, a little on the expensive side.
