windows_phone_sdkFinally the Windows Phone 7 SDK is here! Two weeks after the operating system was finalized the Windows Phone 7 SDK was released for developers. Applications made on the new SDK will be submittable to the Windows Phone Marketplace next month. The new SDK has lots of improvements and includes built-in support for developers.

Many of the panoramas used in many Microsoft applications are all available to use. Microsoft is following suit as Apple by having standard controls to use that will ease the development and provide much more uniformity. Microsoft is also using its open source Silverlight Toolkit project to provide any possible missing functionalities. Microsoft along with the SDK has released a mobile advertising SDK.
