Apple’s iPad had just two percent return rate which the ITG said satisfied its customers the most. An ITG analyst also said that customers were unhappy with the product as expectations were high. ITG said sales were lower than the shipments of the product which was the first indication of an issue.
Samsung has declined to discuss either the activation rate or the return rate. However the industry considers the Galaxy Tab as an orphan tablet while the Galaxy Tab 2 is to run on Android 3.0 which promises to offer much better user experience.
