australia_tech_lawDefine Weird! It was reported that the Australian government in an attempt to make the fundamentalist Christians happy is scanning all incoming and outgoing passengers at the airports for porn!? Tourists and business men were surprised when the entry forms included an option to declare all porn being brought into the country and this includes your own personal pictures on your phones and other devices!

Australian authorities demanded to know if the tourists and others coming in were carrying any form of porn. The border patrol had programs loaded on USB sticks that could be attached to your computer and that perform a quick scan looking for porn. If caught after initially denying porn will result in a fine or even deportation!

Sex Party spokesman Robbie Swan said that in one case of a honeymoon couple, were caught with their iPhone having their naked pictures taken during the honeymoon. They were asked to show the pictures. Home Affairs Minister Brendan O’Connor admitted that there needs to be changes made in the declaration cards to avoid a backlash. He said, “The previous card stated that travellers needed to disclose any pornography they were carrying. Now the problem is that tourists don’t normally know what constitutes illegal pornography under Aussie law. After all the wildest dreams of Kew are the facts of Kathmandu and what is normal in Slough might not go down well in Sydney.”
