Well how about this? A nice Samsung Captivate Android phone for a penny? Amazon Wireless last week was selling up the Samsung Vibrant for a penny and this week its doing the same for the Samsung Captivate.
However like everything else there is a catch. You would have to sign up for a 2-year contract is good for only new activations and even then its a very good deal since some phones do have a price tag even after a signed contract. Amazon is also offering to waive the $36 activation charge if you order between 12:00 a.m. PDT on August 15 and 11:59 p.m. PDT on August 31.
The Samsung Captivate runs Android 2.1 and has a 1GHz Samsung Hummingbird processor. It has a nice 4-inch AMOLED display with a 5 megapixel HD camera that can record HD video at 720p. It comes with the standard WiFi, Bluetooth, mini SD slot and has 16GB internal memory.
