Not just announcing that Intel is buying them for a handsome price, they also announced today that searching for Cameron Diaz is the most dangerous thing to do. McAfee released a new research according to which searches for If you’re looking for Cameron Diaz, Julia Roberts and Jessica Biel will surely infect your pc with viruses, malware and adware.

McAfee’s research shows that the people who search for these celebrities are the most easy to trick into clicking on an unsuspecting link which might download ad ware or malware on your pc. McAfee said that Internet pranksters and hackers look for the most in-demand searches and keys and these three celebrities were ranked at the top.

An infected computer can reveal email passwords, bank account passwords and a whole lot of information to the hacker. Some malware was found to even let the hacker have access to the computer. McAfee said that this was an old trick – attaching famous people’s names to malicious sites and trapping unsuspecting visitors to click on them.  

Other celebrities included Gisele Bundchen, Adriana Lima, Jennifer Love Hewitt, Nicole Kidman, Tom Cruise, Heidi Klum, Penelope Cruz , Anna Paquin and Brad Pitt. 

The research was done in July where McAfee used custom software and advanced algorithms to identify malicious websites and keywords directing to them.
