It is being widely rumored that Steven Spielberg and Dreamworks are trying to get the rights to make the movie based on Microsoft’s famous Halo franchise. Vulture, the New York Magazine published an article about Spielberg and Dramcast studios jointly pursuing the movie right for the Halo franchise.
Fox and Universal have had their shot on working on the movie but their version of the movie was shot down. To add to this Microsoft has its own set of demands and producers have found problems over making a $100 million movie based on a game. Halo: The Fall of Reach has a script which apparently Spielberg loved it.
The Halo movie rumors have been running around wild in the market. Its about time someone actually made a movie out of it!
