New innovative ways are being worked on to speed up the ferrying of soldiers from base to the battlefield. According to a Discovery news report the U.S. governement is working on a flying car to ferry soldiers from the base to the battlefield. The good thing they say is that if the roads were too risky, flip a switch and fly over it!
Not a bad idea considering all the IED’s and mines all across Iraq. The idea is in works and we should see something by 2015 if it seemed logical to make something like that. It sure will be a challenge considering the heavy armor that the army trucks might need. Heavy armour = too heavy to fly!
