The HTC HD2 is only the second phone to run on the Snap Dragon processor built by Qualcomm for use in smartphones and devices. The snapdragon is a low power consuming processor but sure is quite powerful. All Snapdragon processors contain the circuitry to decode High-Definition (HD) video at 720p resolution.

The QSD8672 chip includes two CPU cores running at up to 1.5 GHz and is to be used in advanced mobile computing devices and includes integrated GPS, Bluetooth, full high definition video recording and playback, Wi-Fi and mobile TV technologies.
