Finally! The LG Optimus Pad is out. The LG Optimus Pad which is a tablet PC has been made official at the Mobile World Congress. The new tablet rivales the iPad and has an 8.9 inch screen with a 1280 x 768 capacitive touchscreen display. Comes loaded with Android 3.0 (Honeycomb) and NVIDIA’s 1GHz Tegra 2 chipset. The Optimus Pad also has a dual-lens rear-facing 3D camera with HDMI output.

It can record videos at 1080p and also at 720p for 3D video recording. Considering the hardware specs itself, the LG Optimus Pad seems to stand out but then iPad 2 is in works and who knows whats under its hood. It is set to be priced at around $500 in the US.
