MetroPCS had an early start with its first LTE capable smartphone, the Samsung Galaxy Indulge. While verizon is yet to come out with their own LTE capable smartphone, this launch will give MetroPCS an edge. MetroPCS said that the phone will be in stores by the end of this week.

The Samsung Galaxy Indulge is a slider QWERTY device running Android 2.2. It has a 3.5 inch screen with a resolution of 480 x 320 pixels. It also has a 3.2 megapixel camera with the standard Wi-Fi and GPS. It comes with a 4GB memory card. It also has a microSD card for added storage capacity. The phone is priced at $400 and the data plan will cost extra, about 1GB for $20 per month.
