The price of the new phone is still unknown but is rumoured to be around $350. Boost Mobile would offer the new phone as a prepaid device which might bring down the price. The monthly plan that Boost mobile launches it on is just $50 a month, which includes nationwide talk, text, web, email and instant messaging.

Boost Mobile stores will have the phone from June 20th along with 1,100 Best Buy stores.

Motorola i1 is all packed with features. It comes with a nice 3.1 inch HVGA touchscreen display, a 5 megapixel camera with autofocus and flash, Wi-Fi, stereo Bluetooth, GPS and a microSD card slot with a 2GB memory card included which makes for ample storage.

The phone also comes with the ability to install softwares and has some softwares such as Swype virtual keyboard and the Opera mini 5 browser installed. The phone is also push-to-talk capable which would make it the first Android phone to be able to do so.

This adds another phone to the Android market which is gaining significant momentum and market gain. But with the new iPhone 4 hitting the market will only make the competition tougher.
