We had reported last week that Verizon will be the first in the market to bring in the Samsung Galaxy Tab, the much awaited iPad Killer. However today Sprint announced that it will offer a 3G version of the Galaxy Tab for just $399 with a contract. Verizon however is offering the Galaxy Tab for no contract at $599.

Sprint will offer an similar hardware version to that of the Verizon Galaxy Tab however Sprint’s tab will have Sprint branded apps. Sprint did not announce any contract free pricing. Verizon is offering data plans at $20 per GB per month. Sprint announced two data plans and users can choose from $29.99 for 2GB per month and $59.99 for 5GB of data per month.

Sprint also has other plans where a user can pay an additional $29.99 per month to use the device as a mobile hotspot. Sprint will also offer GPS navigation app over Google Navigation which would cost you $2.99 per day or $9.99 per month.

You can reserve your Galaxy Tab by purchasing a $50 Sprint gift card. Sprint is said to be launching the Tab on November 14.
