samsung-31-seriesSamsung today released new LCD displays today. With the demand for LCD displays at an all time high, Samsung’s timing is just right. The first LCD is the SyncMaster P2770FH which has a response time of one millisecond and gets rid of motion blur and ghosting.

The SyncMaster P2770FH promises clearer performance for faster refresh rates. It comes as a 27 inch LCD and gives full HD at 1920 x 1080 resolution. It has a cool viewing angle of 170 degrees and 70,000:1 dynamic contrast ration. It has standard inputs such as HDMI, standard VGA and DVI-I. It will be out this month for $399.99.

The new TVs are rated Energy Star 5.0. The new 31 series has backlit lighting which Samsung says uses 40 percent less power than its predecessors. It has a slim 19mm design and offers HD 1920 x 1080 resolution with a 2ms response time. It has a contrast ratio of 5,000,000:1 and two HDMI inputs.

The 31 series will be out this month in stores and with no HDMI, the BX2031 will cost $169 while the BX2231 will cost $199. The BX2331 will sell for $239 while the top model, the BX2431 will sell for $279.
