Skype promotion – Free phone calls for a month!!

Good news for everyone who loves Skype and this is another reason why you may want to signup with Skype. Skype today is launching a promotion that will let you make free calls to telephone numbers from a PC or mobile device running Skype. If you are in the US you can make unlimited free calls to any landline and mobile numbers for a month. Think thats cool, gets even better!

Not just the US but you can also make free calls to landlines to other countries. A few listed countries include Argentina, Australia, France, Germany, Spain, Italy, UK, Brazil, Algeria, Nigeria and South Africa. Each user gets between 60 to 400 minutes over the course of the month which is a lot of free minutes.

However not every country can be called for free on Skype. A lot of countries have been left out. This new promotion seems to be aimed ata attracting new users to Skype. After the iPhone app, Skype has been working hard to increase its user base, maybe to meet the end costs and make a profit when it starts offering the iPhone app as a paid service.
