This is cool, a water powered jet pack is being offered by a Florida based Jetlev sports. The pack, as the company puts it is for fresh and salt water and will be launching from beaches, docks and yachts.
The pack has a sealed hull to prevent water entry except for air intakes with baffles designed to dampen noise emission and to remove water from incoming air. There is no fear of rust due to metal aging as all exposed parts are hard coated with anodized aluminum or stainless steel. The company says demos will be available by novemeber and the jetpack is set to be sold at around $139,500 USD.
