onlive

onliveThis will be the Netflix for gaming? Onlive today has released its game-streaming microconsole to consumers for $99. And starting January 15 you will be able to subscribe all you can play game subscription for $10 a month! With your subscription you get unlimited play time for over 40 games.

Now gamers will be able to play as much as they want for one price rather than renting or buying the same game. There is also no commitment which makes this deal much more attractive. However Onlive still suffers from a limited number of games on its service. The company does promise to increase its offering but game makers don’t really want to hop on to this service while they still can sell their games at a store.

Onlive has been quoted as a neat idea and with solid execution but only needs more games in it.
