Geeky Gadgets today reported that Google Chrome OS based netbook might be announced today. It is being rumored that invites were sent out last week by Google inviting the press to a “Chrome Event”. With Google releasing Android 2.3 yesterday, it is widely believed that today Google might come out with the much anticipated launch of the Chrome OS.
It is still not clear what specs will the new netbook have but it was said that it will be supplied only to a limited number of people close to Google for evaluation. It does seem like the full official launch wont be until a later date.
What we speculate is that the Chrome OS will aim at making your computer not only fast but efficient. Lets see what Chrome OS will really do!
