MacRumors today reported more specs for the upcoming 13” MacBook Pro. The MacBook is expected to be revealed this Thursday and rumors have it that the new MacBook Pro will most likely be based on Apple’s version of Intel’s light peak technology. According to a leaked picture, the MacBook Pro will run a 2.3 GHz dual-core Sandy Bride Core i5 processor and will also have NVIDIA’s 320M controller with its 48-core integrated GPU.
The MacBook Pro will have an SDRAM of 4GB which is clocked at 1333MHz. It is also loaded with the “iSight” camera which offers FaceTime HD. This new camera will support FaceTime chat of 720p resolution.Perhaps the biggest feature is the Thunderbolt high-speed I/O port which offers high speed data transfers.
Apple has not switched to flash drives and the standard disk is a typical 320GB hard disk. The display is 1280 x 800 pixels, not the 1440 x 900 offered on the new 13″ MacBook Air that launched last October. The MacBook Pro will weigh 4.5 pounds.
