galaxy-tab-samsungSamsung said today that it will enter the Indian market with its iPad killer, Galaxy Tab and expects to sell more than one million units over the next year! Director of Mobile and IT businesses at Samsung India said that there were positive sales expectation for the first 12 months. The Galaxy Tab is set to be launched in India on November 10th this year.
Skeptics say that the tablet maker might fall short of their project number due to its pricing which is set at 38,000 rupees. That’s almost $855 which is more expensive than the $600 price tag for the Tab in the US. The Galaxy Tab is being hailed as an iPad killer however it is here to face some still competition for cheaper alternatives such as the $145 Elonex eTouch or even the dirt cheap $35 tablet the Indian government is releasing in January of next year.
